On 30 September, Ukraine held an auction to allocate a 700 MW support quota for wind generation. Nine companies submitted 93 bids with a combined 1,218.1 MW, 1.74 times the lot size. The lowest price was offered by Naftogaz Wind. The final winners have not yet been confirmed.
According to the auction protocol, participants' prices ranged from 2.98 to 7.59 eurocents/kWh excluding VAT, against a maximum allowed 8 eurocents/kWh.

Earlier solar auctions
The wind auction followed two solar auctions on 25 September. The auction for 100 MW of support for solar plants with storage drew 26 bids from 24 companies with a combined 385.943 MW, almost 3.86 times the quota. The lowest price, 5.97 eurocents/kWh, was offered by Lightday against a ceiling of 12 eurocents.
At a separate auction for solar plants without storage, two companies, Levstone and Ecoenergoservice Dnipro, submitted three bids for 38.99 MW. That is about 78% of the 50 MW quota on offer, and prices ranged from 7.30 to 7.99 eurocents/kWh against a maximum of 8 eurocents.
Thus, at the auctions for wind and for solar with storage, bid capacity exceeded the volume of support, while at the auction for solar without storage it was below the quota.
